Melt temperature probe are equipped with thermally (ceramically) insulated measuring tips. The insulated measuring tips ensure accurate measurements of melt temperature. The sensors are available with measuring tips ranging from 0 to 25 mm.

Temperature sensor TSC

Temperature sensor TSCI
KMK melt temperature probe with integrated signal amplifier and output signal 4-20 mA. Thermally (ceramically) insulated, conical measuring tip. Integrated signal amplifier in the BUZ head. Measurement using PT100 resistance thermometer in 3-wire configuration.
For abrasive plastics, all temperature sensors from the TSC series are available with a measuring tip made of Hastelloy 2.4610. Many special versions are available upon request.
